A joke regarding a certain profession, religion, gender or age may not be very appealing to the person following that specific category. This leads to defamation and other unwanted consequences. Jokes are meant to lighten people up and not discriminate or embaress any given community. Serious people can however be never or very difficult to encourage and take up jokes in a light manner.
